delicious and easy recipe for Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

8 ounces (about 2 cups) of fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken:

Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until they are no longer pink in the center and have a nice golden color, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Reduce the heat to low.

Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt, stirring occasionally.

Once the butter has melted, pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Add the Parmesan Cheese:

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce while continuously stirring. Keep stirring until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine the Chicken and Pasta:

Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Stir to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.

Combine with Pasta:

Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Gently toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy Alfredo sauce.

Serve:

Season with additional salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.

Serve your Chicken Alfredo hot, and enjoy!

This creamy and flavorful dish makes for a satisfying meal that's perfect for any occasion.
