make a simple and delicious recipe for Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

8 oz (about 2 cups) of fettuccine pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken:

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.

Reduce the heat to low, then add the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and unsalted butter to the skillet. Stir constantly until the butter and cheese are melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.

Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce:

Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and gently mix it in with the pasta and sauce.

Serve:

Divide the chicken Alfredo pasta among serving plates. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy:

Serve your homemade Chicken Alfredo Pasta while it's hot. It's a creamy and indulgent dish that's perfect for any occasion!
